TRU Maintenance Academy offers technician trainees a unique training experience found nowhere else. Technicians have direct access to the manuals, engineering documents, and support from those who build the Citation X. Each state-of-the-art classroom is equipped with a 70-inch Smart Board screen for projection of the training materials, and technician guides are presented simultaneously on a Surface Pro 3 to interact with our courseware. Each TRU Simulation course is approved for Inspection Authorization Renewal Credit. Courses are task based performed to the Maintenance Manual level. The greatest asset to your technicians’ learning is our highly qualified, experienced instructors who ensure each technician leaves confident in his or her skills and abilities. Courses include Inspection/Check, Removal and Installation, Maintenance Practices and Adjustment Test practices.

Offerings include Maintenance Initial, Maintenance Practical, Avionics Initial and Avionics Practical. All applicable to Citation X and X+.

Familiarization Course

This course is designed as a high-level introduction for anyone needing an overview of this specific model aircraft. The use of interactive training along with classroom presentation allows for the familiarization of aircraft system descriptions and operations on an introductory level. Using OEM, vendor, and regulatory documents to create and present an aircraft walk around demonstration that utilizes computer visual aids of the aircraft. This course is ideal for those needing to be familiar with but may or may not perform maintenance on the aircraft

Updates Course

During this course, you will receive an overview of all the major systems using interactive courseware, a review of the latest Service Bulletins, Airworthiness Directives and any OEM documentation changes published in the last 12 months will be discussed. An in-depth review of affected systems and troubleshooting techniques will ensure the student is up-to-date on the latest information available. This course is ideal for those who have been working around the specific model but have not had a training session in some time.
