Covering all the Bases
From maintaining to cleaning on-base defense training devices, TRU Simulation + Training can be your trusted partner, doing all it takes to keep your training program performing its fullest. We have provided Contractor Logistics Support on the C-17 TS, the USAF Air Mobility Command’s largest training system as well as the B-1 program.
We maintain over 200 Aircrew and Maintenance training devices including 26 Weapons Systems Trainers (WSTs), 1 Cockpit Systems Simulator (CSS), 2 Cargo Compartment Trainers (CCTs) and 34 Maintenance Training Devices. A pillar of TRU’s programs has been to maintain optimal readiness for all training to ensure there is no downtime for the aircrew. In the C-17 and B-1 programs, this was highlighted with the B-1 program maintaining a 99.2% Average availability and the C-17 program maintaining a 99% Average Training System Effectiveness rate.
Our CLS network includes personnel at 12 CONUS USAF sites, two OCUNUS USAF sites and one Royal Australian Air Force site. Essentially, our support personnel can be found on every base that offers the C-17, including:
