TRU Simulation + Training brings substantial experience building high fidelity, system level training devices for unmanned aircraft through its Shadow Crew Trainer (SCT) program. This trainer blends operational hardware and vehicle control software with instructional system design, creating a virtual environment that delivers mission-level training to Shadow crew members. Partnering with the U.S. Army Joint Technology Center/Systems Integration Laboratory (JTC/SIL), TRU integrated Multiple Unified Simulation Environment (MUSE) technology into the SCT to achieve rapid concurrency and accreditation. TRU delivered five mobile classrooms and 28 raining devices of the Shadow Crew Trainer across multiple army bases through 27 states from 2009 to 2014. TRU supported SCT through a help desk that operated from 2009 to 2015 for 18 hours per day and 365 days per year. All Shadow Crew Trainer devices were delivered to the Army National Guard.
