Customer Requirements Analysis
Our technology evaluation methodologies are designed to help you arrive at optimal solutions for developing or updating a new or existing training system from curriculum and courseware to training devices. Our team performs a task proficiency analysis to define relevant skills, knowledge and attitudes and to determine training levels required for each task. Then we perform an analysis of the target group to identify their location, experience, current qualifications and education level. With this data, we compare the desired skill level and that of the target group to determine gaps to be filled by the training program. Our goal is to ensure that your training program is no more and no less than what you need to produce the most proficient maintenance technician.
Training Center Setup Support
Because TRU Simulation + Training operates both independent and joint venture Part 142 certified flight training centers—as well as aircraft maintenance training centers—we understand what goes into establishing a viable facility. We offer either a turn-key solution or individual services. These services include training center design and set up, financing, device installation and qualification, and maintenance and operations support.
Engineering & Logistics Services
Our engineering services include device refurbishments, such as re-engineering, modification and redesign of existing legacy cockpit shells to meet Level C & D qualifications. We also provide hardware and software upgrades to standardize simulators of various vintages, manufacturers and configurations. Our capabilities run the gamut: automated flight, engines and aircraft systems software; flight dynamics software, motion/visual/seat shaker cue correlation; motion, control loading systems, navigation system software, sound system, and Instructor Operator Stations. Additionally, we provide relocation services that permit worry-free transportation and reassembly of your simulators—across the street or across the world.
